NATHAN MURRAYTRAVELS — BEYOND THE RESORT

EXPERIENCE ON THE GROUND. CONTEXT THAT GOES DEEPER.

Hello,
I’m Nathan.

I’m an experienced traveler whose expertise comes from living abroad, exploring widely and paying close attention to how a place works.

Knowledge earned
on the ground.

I’ve lived and worked in China and Korea 한국, and traveled through cities and landscapes in Asia, Europe and the American West. Living abroad gave me a deep, firsthand perspective on the everyday rhythms of a place: how people move, where they gather, when they eat and what takes time to understand.

I’m a former history teacher with a B.A. in International Relations and an M.Ed. in Counseling. That background helps me connect what you see with the story behind it—and listen carefully to what you want from the trip.

I climb, ski, sail, camp and backpack, with wilderness first aid and rescue training. Time outdoors shapes how I think about terrain, weather, equipment and what makes a realistic day.

I bring that experience to the decisions that shape your journey: a neighborhood that fits, a route that flows, a local guide who adds depth and enough preparation to move comfortably. I combine firsthand knowledge with research and local expertise to build a trip around your interests, pace and priorities.
